How I Like to Work
It’s important to me to create a safe, trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients. Rather than asking “what is wrong with you?”, I prefer to ask “what has happened to you?” in order to understand why you have sought therapy. I will work with you to create a shared understanding of your difficulties, set meaningful goals and work towards long-lasting change.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working in a variety of NHS services, supporting adults, young people and their families with a range of psychological difficulties.
I have a particular interest and specialist expertise in working with those affected by adverse and traumatic life events.
My Credentials and Registration
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hull. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold Chartered Status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
