How I Like to Work
I have a person-centred and holistic approach, where I tailor the therapy approaches I use to meet the specific needs of the individual. I aim to create a safe space to allow you to talk about your difficulties and for us both to understand what the difficulties are, where they developed from and how they are being maintained in your current context.
I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, with over ten years of experience working in the NHS in a variety of settings, working with individuals and their networks, across the lifespan and in private practice.
I specialise in working with people who find it difficult to manage emotional responses to life events, as well as those who struggle with negotiating interpersonal relationships, whereby they find themselves repeating the same patterns of behaviour; these often stemming from earlier life experiences and early attachment relationships.
My Credentials and Registration
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Salomons Institute of Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU). I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), UK.
