About Dr Natalia Dylewska
I am an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working across a range of NHS services. I have supported both adults and young people with a variety of emotional and psychological difficulties.
My experience and interests
I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, PTSD, complex PTSD, low mood and unusual experiences such as hearing, seeing, or feeling things others cannot (psychosis).
I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced relational trauma and who find relationships difficult, supporting them to make sense of emotional patterns and exploring different ways of connecting with others.
I also have a strong interest in the connection between mind and body, particularly how emotions and stress can be felt and expressed physically.
How I Like to Work
I understand that reaching out for therapy is often a big and important step, and I aim to offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where you feel safe and supported to explore your experiences.
I take time to build a shared understanding of your difficulties - how they developed, what keeps them going, and how they affect your life now.
I bring warmth and curiosity to the therapeutic space, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you, combining reflection with practical ways to support change.
The Therapy Approaches I Use
As a Clinical Psychologist, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My work is rooted in relational and psychodynamic thinking, recognising how early life experiences and relationships influence the ways we understand ourselves and relate to others.
Alongside this, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and somatic approaches. I bring these models together flexibly to offer a therapeutic experience that is tailored to you and your goals.
My Credentials and Registration
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Salomons Institute of Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christ Church University and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy (parts 1 and 2). I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), my registration number is PYL047285.
My clinical experience includes working across several NHS Trusts, where I have supported individuals in a variety of community and specialist services. This has included roles within Oxleas and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trusts.
I currently work within Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, providing psychological assessment and therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Outside work
When I’m not working, I like getting out into nature and going for long walks in the forest. I also really enjoy keeping active - the gym and strength training are my favourite ways to unwind and recharge. I also love catching up with friends and family, and spending time with my 14 year old Maltese dog.
